Do you really know that drinking water wrongly is a way to misuse water and this act can be very harmful to your body?
Well, virtually everyone knows that it’s essential to stay hydrated but not everyone knows that drinking water any how can be dangerous to the health.
In as much as water plays diverse roles in your body, such like maintaining regular body temperature, promoting cell health and lubricating joints, etc, water should be taken responsibly.
Further findings from a reliable medical practitioner got my attention and he made me realized that I have been drinking water the wrong way. Same goes to many of us in Nigeria and different parts of the African continent. He made me understand that one can have water disease if he or she takes the proper way of consumption of water for granted.
So many people are actually on the sick bed because of there negligence towards drinking water and paying less attention to the way and manner they drink water.
For you not to continue to be ignorant, and to stay healthy with water, it is advisable to pay attention to the following tips on how to drink water responsibly:
1. Always sit down to drink water just as you should sit down to eat and should not be hasty but taken slowly sip by sip.
2. Drink water when you are thirsty. Thirst is a natural urge that should be meant immediately because that is what our body calls for at that point in time.
3. Don’t Drink Water while eating until 45 minutes later because if you do, your belly won’t have enough room for digestion action.
4. The actual amount of water to drink is known by our body demand which is thirst. So in other word don’t drink more than what your body demands.
5. Drink water which is at room temperature. Warm is best, cold and iced water puts out the digestive fire.
Further findings revealed that our body has a mechanism of processing all things at the body temperature I.e, 37 degrees Celsius and doing so it needs blood of that temperature. So when we drink cold water our stomach then demands blood from other organs which in turns disturbs their functioning causing various diseases to the body.
So for you to be free from water diseases follow the above steps daily while drinking water because the more you drink water wrongly, the closer you are to the grave.
