COVID-19: NCDC Announces 64 New Cases as Infection Toll Rises to 1,337
The confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria increased by 64 to reach 1337, according to the latest figures from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) late on Monday.
The 64 new infections were recorded in four states and the Federal Captital Territory, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) said in the latest update.
According to the NCDC in a tweet via its official handle, 34 of the new infections were recorded in Lagos, 15 cases in FCT, 11 cases in Borno, 2 cases in Taraba and 2 cases in Gombe.
The nationwide death toll from the virus remained 40 in the last 24 hours, NCDC added, noting that in total, 255 people have been discharged from hospitals after their symptoms improved.
