The unassuming servant leader, Prince Babatunde Saliu popularly known as The Prince, who is currently the Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to the executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has concluded plans to run for the forthcoming Chairmanship election in Kosofe Local Government Area in Lagos State come 2021.

The Prince, who is a force and personality to reckon with in the centre of excellence, is a true son and the crown Prince of a reputable monarch, Oba Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu (The Oba of Oworonshoki Kingdom) and Olori Adeola Saliu (Nee Ashade of Ogba). His both parents are from Royal Families in Lagos (Ojora Royal/Oloworo Royal Family and Oluwa/Ashade Royal Family of Ogba).

As the Local Government election gears up in Lagos State, the dynamic and capable Prince Babatunde Saliu is offering himself to serve and willing to chart a new vista by helping the people in Kosofe Local Government to push their constituency a notch further towards a more benefiting, befitting and rewarding Local Government Area where people and members of the society are guaranteed the right opportunities.

The progressive astute politician, Prince Babatunde Saliu who has professed his intention to run as the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, attended Irepodun Primary School, Sari Iganmu Lagos and from there moved to Comprehensive High school, Ayetoro Ogun State.

On completion of his secondary school education, he gained admission to the prestigious University of Lagos, Akoka where he bagged a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, B.Sc. in Business Administration.

In pursuit of educational excellence, he also has a Masters in philosophy and Professional Masters in Public and International affairs, which would be a great advantage to the management and relationship with the people of Kosofe Local Government.

Prince Babatunde Saliu, is truly an emblem of super royalties as he was born and betrothed into four royal families from Lagos State; (Mum from both Oluwa/Ashade and Ojora Royal Family and Dad from Ojora Royal Family and Saliu Salami Royal Family of Oworonshoki Land).

The soft spoken Prince has served as Special Adviser (SA) to former Lagos state Governor on Waterfront Infrastructure Development between 2012 and 2015. And, no doubt over the years he has gathered enough experience in different sectors of Lagos State politics with outstanding ability for good governance which would be positively impacted in Kosofe Local Government.

He also served and still serving at the background as one of the personal assistant to His Excellency Emeritus and the distinguished National leader of All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Prince Babatunde Saliu is a member of the Lagos Think-Tank team and his desire to lead in Kosofe Local Government would create a good leadership and directions that would lead to much needed impact positively in the community at large.

According to the political pundits; Prince Babatunde Saliu, is a Servant Leader that would see a new birth -the birth of hope renewed, of dreams retold and of friendship rebuilt in Kosofe Local Government.
